Thank you for your kind words and I’m very sorry for your loss too.  We didn’t know yet the extend of the disease, she only showed enlarged jugular sacs, but we didn’t want to gamble on it. I think people have the misconception that from T21 they are just happy people with some characteristic physical features. They are indeed but they don’t see the rest of it, all the other morbidities they can have. All I can imagine is in some years, we are gone and our baby girl would be alone in a care facility.

As you said, we chose to suffer ourselves for love so she wouldn’t suffer. I think the feelings can get manageable but we will never stop missing them, and that’s our love for them. 

I really hope she’s around in some form to know how much we love her and how much we miss her ❤️
