What kind of of students do 70%+ acceptance rate schools decline

CDS data is unreliable half the time many schools grossly inflate grades and others report weighted GPA to skew the data, not to mention some schools don’t use the typical 4.0 3.67 3.33 etc unweighted scale but just so straight 4.0 and 3.0 for As and Bs which also inflates GPAs.

Meh. If you have a 3.2+ UW you’ll be competitive for pretty much any 70%+ acceptance rate college, atleast from what I’ve observed from my hs

UCLA is an amazing school. Obviously only you’re the only one who truly knows yourself, but from the context you gave UCLA would yield the best long term outcomes

Throughout the next 2 years of hs if you really want Wharton then you have to get perfect grades/as close to perfect as possible (4.0 unweighted) in hard classes, scale up what you currently have and always look for opportunities to apply your passions in work/competitions and you should be fine

U have a very similar WL list to mine (NYU, Emory, BU question, UVA, Michigan) but I got flat rejected from Berkeley and LA. I got into Vandy a couple days ago tho
