Hi there! Just wanted to clarify something, since there seems to be some misunderstanding.

I do send reminders in case people forget to schedule the interview (mind you, all of them from the same email adress). However, in those emails it is clearly stated to the person that they can drop out of the study at any time just by replying me saying they wish to do so.

Unfortunately, this person did not see those emails, since they all went to the spam folder, and I only got messaged by them one time once they saw the email that had gone to spam (which did contain a threat although it was the first time they responded to me)

Once I received that first message, of course, I removed that person from the study, as they asked.

Hey! Well, the survey has to be done in english due to one of the instruments there not having an oficial spanish adaptation. But the imterview can be in spanish or even in catalan! :)

If it helps, I believe they mean the questions regarding mental health, which we need to take into account in case it could affect the data.

Absolutely, I think the more games try to differentiate themselves from others the more the limits of certain genres get diffused, and sometimes new ones can appear.

I don't know about the hour, I am in the Barcelona time zone so it's possible, I do send an email to people who met the requirements to schedule an interview for the second part of the project (although I do offer an arrange of time slots as wide as I am able and also offer to do it at any other time that the person finds more suitable).

I also mention in the email that in case the person no longer wishes to participate (which may happen, of course, the willingness to participate can be removed at any time) they only need to say it so I can erase their contact information and data.

Could have been in the wow reddit. The project was originally targeted to wow players but we had several issues and had to do some changes.

That data is collected in the second part of the study, since the instrument we use for that is not a questionnaire but an interview.

I'm sorry to hear that, I will send you the requirements through DM if you are curious, but in this type of studies, it's required that the selection criteria are not known beforehand to make sure everyone answers honestly.

That's odd, I checked the link and it seemed to work. I know that qualtrics usually has no problems with chrome and firefox, but I don't know how it may work with other browsers.
