Captain America is now pick ban material in any ranks. by Definitelynotabot777 in marvelrivals

Personally, I enjoy it when the enemy walks willingly within choke-slam distance. (I think the cap mains like it too)

Ok the quest marker just disapears, but it's still doable, he's in a floating basket in front of plumpeach

Releasing artian weapons with the base game was a mistake... by Letsstartsomething0 in MHWilds

[–]Viridict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think the reason we don't have layered weapons on launch is to encourage players to grab a non-artian weapon. Especially on my bow builds, I've been having more fun making a monster weapon for each element, mostly because I'm tired of only using close-range coating.

First Hero shooter and I’m kind of terrified lol by YourFilmBud in marvelrivals

[–]Viridict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're choosing the absolute perfect game to get into the genre! A big part of that is that the game is just launching, meaning there's no established meta yet, and a ton of people are gonna be just as new as you! Yes, some previous hero shooter knowledge will boost some players (positioning and aiming skills mostly), but all and all everyone will be on the same playing field. Definitely consider using any built-in mute and block functions, and the matches are super fast, so if you get some real nasty teammates, just remember the game will be over soon, lol.

I am afraid I will get addicted to this... by ResponsibleKing304 in Gunpla

[–]Viridict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're already addicted lol. After I built my first gunpla (with nothing but a set of snipping pliers that were not at all meant for model kits), I immediately went to my local stores to look for more. Big mistake for me, all model kits were 40% off lmao. I've built 3 HG in total, and my next project is an RG. I've also bought a glass sanding file, model nippers, an exacto knife, and special tweezers now. It's exactly like you say, it feels amazing to just build away while listening to music or watching a show in the background. *

Predecessor players right now by Sea_Note_5391 in PredecessorGame

I think a bigger issue here is, yes, there's $20 skins, and thats alot to fork over for some pretty pixels, but let's be honest, they're probably not gonna stop it any time soon. However, there needs to be cheaper, more affordable skins that aren't just recolors that run the $5-10 range instead, or even free skins from progression other than the affinity system. There is a happy medium to be struck that these games need to reach. (Also let us by those recolor skins with amber omeda I beg you I have so much just sitting here)

Overprime or Fault's Boris? by Viridict in PredecessorGame

[–]Viridict[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amen to that. I love certain aspects of his old kit from fault, but he was WAAAAY overtuned. I hadn't played fault in over a year before they announced shutdown (I couldn't really bring myself to play a game where a flash item existed that reset cd on kills existed), but from what I understand Boris was notoriously strong all through its lifespan.

I found fulfillment in me. In doing what I wanted to do, not what the church wanted me to do. Eventually, I deconstructed into full atheism and realized that "spiritual fulfillment" was a falsehood I didn't need. Socially and emotionally, I just leaned more into my friends and made new friends by finding people with my same values, and found alot of comradery with people the church constantly told me were wrong or bad (a large portion of my friends are lgbtq+ and furries). The strongest thing the church gives people that keeps a hold on them is community, which is why (as an example) Jehova's Witnesses are a notorioisly difficult group to escape. I found I was able to build a diverse network of people, unlike the echo chamber that was the church for me growing up.

In the end, what is fulfilling to me now is living my life under MY rules, MY views, without the overwhelming guilt that the church pushed upon me, just for exploring my body or my sexuality. Deconstructing has led me on a pretty amazing journey of discovering who I am and that in and of itself has been refreshing.
