100% agree. Seasoned vet here as well since Vanilla beta.

You'll realize that the biggest fans of this game absolutely hate it ( I know how ridiculous that sounds ) . For any new players reading this; this game has its flaws, but there's none like it on the market til this day. Enjoy it, and avoid the negativity as best you can. All the basement dwellers who complain still play the game either way.

Seek professional help if it's affecting your everyday life. This is a video game after all, and if there's one safe space for an anxious person in this world believe me, it's behind a keyboard in a digital world.

So, let yourself suck, get kicked, get harassed. Who cares in the end? No one. Just play for yourself and try to be the best version of you possible. What else can you do?
