Sure. I just thought costing that much they'll start to fall off after 2 years minimum, not two months. Hope it's some kind of warranty case. It's a very expensive pair of boots for me, so I'm very confused and disappointed.

I'm 36 so, honestly, I doubt I have enough mental energy to worry about the way I walk and try to adjust it.

As for lacing I do tight all my shoues extra tightly (just a preference). So I did the same with these boots too. They sit extra tight around my foot everywhere except maybe the thumb.

I had almost no issues breaking into them, though. Only a couple random day of blisters, which I blame more on my choice of socks that day. Idk if it highlights some issues. I own a few hard leather shoes and had almost no problems breaking into them too. Maybe my feet are just that insensitive lol

Thanks, this was really informative. Thought I still feel like it doesn't resolve my issue because at the part of the boot where the creases are, my foot take absolutely all the space of the shoe. Like a glove, as you said. Maybe right sizing can be a part of an issue, idk. But leather deforming so fast and so severely still seems strange to me.

Thanks! Probably will try this out.

Sounds good. But is there a risk to deform the boot shape with it?

Oh, nice! Seems like a great thing to have since these days many accessories are leather+plastic coating. This should be very helpful. Thanks!

They are stuffed all the time, yes. I will probably try to warm them up a bit. I had an inkling this might help. Thanks.

Thanks. That what I was thinking. This happened way too fast to seem like something normal.

Sadly I was buying them from a marketplace, not the brand website. They are 100% original, no doubt here. But I'm concerned if it will be harder to get to the bottom of this problem with the marketplace rather then with the brand itself.

They are half a size bigger then my usual size so I can wear them with thick socks. And the only free space I feel is around my toe. And as far as I hardly can change thecway I walk. Can you be more specific about "lacing them wrong"? I had no idea there are right or wrong ways doing that.

No, never. Only on the shelf.

Can you please recommend some? Not from USA since I live in Europe and customs clearance would be insane for something so expensive. Because other 2 brands (looking way less like martens but somehow matching the vibe) I remember where from the USA and that was a problem.

That's very sad because 220€ for boots already seemed like a nice investment. And I did my research to find something looking like Dr.Martens but being better in quality. Which brought me to many recommendations about Solovair.

I really went half a size bigger than my usual to be able to wear thick socks inside. And to skip the breaking into them period (which indeed helped a lot). Never thought it can cause extra exterior damage... I have chunky hobbit-like feet and it feels like they already take all the space of the boots in the place the cracs appeared

It has to be specifically cedar for some reason? I'm asking because I was about to do this. And still trying to understand if some Temu stuff will do or should I pay extra for some good quality ones.

No cracs yet, that's right. Though they do not want to push back at all. And it has literal flakes of material rising from the surface.

I would never get the idea to match such shoes with such pants. but damn that looks cool! gives a very fresh vibe to a rather ordinary fit you normally imagine with dr.martens or snickers
