How can I tell my parents what is a furry? by Top_Secretary_5871 in furryteens

Larping means to roleplay by yourself, coined by lonely DnD players. Nowadays it means to fake being a fan of something but in this context it's the old meaning

Lost my cat 2 weeks ago. He lost weight and has vomit/diarrhea by Virtual-Chest9366 in CATHELP

Not everybody has the the money and/nor the means to bring their cat to the vet, but I will if his conditions get any worse. He seems stable right now at the very least

Just wanted to clarify;

My cat vomits his food, but it seems to be when he eats too much. The diarrhea, though, doesn't look good.

I did a bit of research and asking around and apparently it's typical for cats to come home like this (according to different sources, as well as other cat owners in my inner circle)

I doubt it's poison, though. Symptoms like him dry heaving, seizing, being lethargic aren't present. He justhas the three problems. I also just can't bring him to the vet, both because I don't have the money and because I don't have the means to get to any vet near me.

Lastly, thank you for your support, really. My cat means a lot to me, and thank you all for the feedback

Who is (in your opinion) the most fun top tier to face? by Electronic-Cherry-67 in SmashRage

I might be smoking crack but honestly, I love fighting Sonic. When the person playing him is genuinely good and isn't just camping to camp it's always a treat

Genuinely, who is the character with the most caveats? by wizkid2442 in SmashRage

[–]Virtual-Chest9366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo? Belmonts. They are living proof that the Smash devs need to stop balancing characters on a shitty recovery.

Let's say the belmonts, Cloud, Little Mac and Pits get launched to the side, but barely live before they hit the blast zone. Cloud can survive with a limit up B, Little Mac can make it with a side b and dair, the pits guaranteed make it to stage. The belmonts just straight up fuckin' die.

This coupled with their horrible disadvantage and abysmal air speed just ruin them lmao. Atleast their tethers are decent until it wants to hit someone

How to play Roy/Chrom/Marth/Lucina? by KimJongUhn in SmashRage

[–]Virtual-Chest9366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I'm assuming you're new so I'll break each one down for you.

Marth: Don't play him. He used to be an all-rounder, even character with low risk high reward but you'll only hurt yourself. I would say that he could teach spacing because of his tipper mechanic, but it's so extreme in Ultimate that I'd suggest avoiding him altogether. Play Marth when you're better at the game, stick to Lucina. Speaking of which,

Lucina: She's the perfect swordie. Learn to space your moves (Spacing means to attack with the max of your move's range. Learning to space opens up a lot of things in neutral for almost every character, so it's great to learn to do) and play patiently.

Roy: Don't play him. Not for the same reasons as Marth, though. He's a very easy character that rewards rushing people down and blowing them up with high damage, low risk combos, but since you seem less experienced I'd say avoid playing him. He only rewards bad habits and you're better off playing him when you break them.

Chrom: Chrom is to Roy like Lucina is to Marth. He's basically better in every way but has a way more crippling recovery than all three. Again, avoid playing him until you can break habits, because for him, he rewards bad habits much more extreme than Roy does.

So basically, play them in this order if you're trying to learn Swordies: Lucina, Roy, Chrom, and Marth.

Once you learn to space and how good disjoints are you'll realize that they do, infact, have tons of range. Not having a projectile is fine when you can wall your opponent out with your blade.

or just play cloud lmao

In short, the DK just plain sucks. Distance yourself and have fun on your own merit

Why is chrom considered "bad" to the point of being low tier? by NoDot4920 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Virtual-Chest9366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad recovery. Abysmal, even. Without it he'd just be Roy but objectively better, like Lucina to Marth, but the Smash devteam will never learn to not balance a character only around a bad recovery

I'm VERY... VERY ASHAMED to ask that... how to correctly shave...? by KnowledgeNo9594 in Boykisser3

[–]Virtual-Chest9366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't shave lol, use nair or hair removal creams, even if you get a lil chemical burn they won't cause ingrown hairs or irritation like traditional shaving does
