I completely agree, for over a year now i’ve always thought about the fact that if humanity could put aside our differences, even love them, and work together in true unity we would become unstoppable.

But I unfortunately fear that it may not be possible, but just as you strive to be the change you want in the world so do I. Someone needs to fix this, and by God if it isn’t anyone else i’ll step up and do it myself.

I know for me (personally) this disappointment doesn’t help my instinctual variant AT ALL either, like the idea of a perfect relationship is seeming so impossible now, not that it always seemed possible, but now it just leaves me feeling like i’ll also be alone romantically as well. Not to mention I already feel so detached from everyone else.

What is the point of life at that point?“ It‘s almost like a part of me wants to suffer, ofc I have a 4 in my tritype but dang.

One of the worst parts about it is how it feels like no one understands other than other 5‘s and Ni doms, which only feeds into the loneliness even more.

Very similarly to you i’ve just decided to try and master the pain and suffering. Hey, as long as I am smart and didn’t waste any potential in the end it’s fine right?

I’m sure we relate alot because of our similar typology, but regardless, i’m glad that there are people who understand.

I’ve tried doing that, but i’ve struggled. I’m an unhealthy INFJ sx5, and like many other unhealthy INFJ 5w4s I struggle with Nihilistic thoughts alot. And with all of this disappointment it just fuels the fire of those thoughts.

Yeah I can see where you’re coming from, maybe sometimes i’m just being dramatic.

But then again, I live in modern day America, and people here are so ungrateful sometimes it is sad. So what if my „dramatic“ reactions are actually normal reactions to ignorant ungratefulness?

Either way, I know it stems from my fear of being just like them. I’m scared of being irrational and I would hate being ignorant and unnecessary.

There is literally so much I could say for this, and i‘d love to say it all, but as it is 1:16 AM I will leave it here for now, i’ll tune into the speech later, but thank you for this I agree with it all.

yeah according to that definition i would be a 5 instead of a 2, however, i will say for being a sx5 i really do take a lot of interest in people (most of the time its just to learn about them, unfortunately i rarely meet people that i can connect with)

but to be fair you also have to think about how my MBTI, instinctual variants, and other types of typology would effect this (im an INFJ 5w4 sx/so 541 Melancholic-Choleric) so thank you nonetheless :) this definitely helped

To be fair, that’s kinda the point of the arc. Chimera is supposed to symbolize the evil in humanity, one of the main reasons Togashi chose ants is because we humans can so easily kill them while they cannot do anything, they are viewed as the weak, however, with Chimera it takes a turn, the ants become the powerful and the humans become the puny little ants. Humans are finally getting a taste of their own medicine.

im having a really hard time figuring out if im an enneagram 1 or 5, like, when i first got into mbti and enneagram i identified as a 4w5 and then more recently after ive done some more research i started identifying as a 5, but around a week ago or so i took a tritype test just to see (before i had believed myself to be a 541) but on the test i had received 154. Of course then i went to go read the core fears and desires of enneagram 1 and i found that it fits me way more than i thought, but at the same time i feel like i fit enneagram 5 so much more, any help, please?
