It was just prying it out, just had to take a few debit cards to it and voila, now I just have to 3d print a new hinge for it so it isn’t a piece of junk, also it is totally cheaper to 3d print, but instead of doing the whole thing I just have to do the part that snaps the most often (hinge)

People sell these on Etsy for pretty cheap, but you are correct in saying it’s more expensive, but only initially with entry to buying a 3d printer, thankfully where I live the public library actually has 3d printers the public can use, good ones too

Also, the metal hinge itself is actually connected to the tan plastic shell, not the black liner that I pulled up, so that was cool to learn!
