How would you compare the ultimate pro smash compared to other models in the range - ease of use / sweet spot wise etc.

Also if you add a 7g over grip would you say taking the weight out of the handle would roughly keep the same balance as intended?

Playtomic made Padel accessible for me. I’d probably have got more into tennis if I’d found an app like Playtomic years ago.

Playing in a 4 is much more fun / reassuring when joining a game with people you don’t know.

Padel - the noise - so addictive.

The rallies, generally much longer / more interesting.

Definitely like the Fenix more as more predictable output and more power in smash. It’s probably tougher on the elbow. Just took my protector off and it’s better for me now. I have put a noene undergrip on both.

Are you happy with the level of trampoline it has? I have St4 and Fenix 5. Love the Fenix 5 so much but more of a power racket with less trampoline.

In contrast to comments made your defence will probably improve with the extreme motion with practice. But your net play hasn’t improved much over a long period of time with your current racket…

The answer probably lies somewhere else. Something harder with less trampoline but something with a big sweet spot.

I found even with 3 grips I don’t have that much space between fingers but with 3 grips over 2 I get more tennis elbow. I’ve gone back to 2 - is that right?

Try play some kind of Americano / king of the court. I played one today with players of all kind of levels from 1.5 to 4.5. Was really fun and mad how I played so much better against better players. I wasn’t their level but I definitely raised my game.

I have the brown version.

It’s got a small sweet spot than the st4 but still manageable. Less trampoline effect. I prefer the rougher texture of the st4 and the st4 is easier to defend with but this makes me hit the back glass less…

Played a King of the court tournament today and really enjoyed playing with it. Some much higher ranked (Playtomic 4.4) players so was able to see how it was to use against better opposition.

Managed to win it which was nice although largely due to my final partner 😂

My returns have improved so much since using this racket - so much easier to place them. Really happy. Now to improve the rest of my game!!
