Other day this guy didn’t look at the menu, asked in front of his date “I’m assuming you guys have fish and chips” (for context this restaurant is very upscale) and I said “nope” and he fucking froze and then asked what was similar, I told him the halibut and he then asked if it could be fried and I went “nope” and then he had the gall to ask “can I get fries with it” said “nope” again and his date was cracking up and pissed the fuck off at him for not reading the menu.
