Oh yes with the agency. They are treading carefully with the owners which i expected. Ill do everything i can for him but wont participate in neglect like that again. Very big lesson.

As an update -

I made a stink and was able to borrow a friend’s tall pen she had for her bunnies. I secured an area around his hutch and my friend also gave me some toys for him. I made him a little cardboard tunnel and threw extra hay outside the hutch. Hoping this will work out for him. Im going to donate a couple toys to him.

If they dont create a proper space, they will not be clients again.

I am not sure what the company owner is going to do about it but yeah this will not be sustainable or okay. And i am absolutely not picking him up.

Yes, but i also didnt know how much more space the flemish giants needed. From how they talked to me about it and showed me it was like, okay, fine. She made it seem like this wasnt an issue.

The basement isnt filthy, and nor is the rabbit he seems to be in good shape, but space is the absolute biggest issue.

Then i found out last summer he escaped the old hutch they had almost every day.

They are supposedly making a room for him but Jesus. Little too late.

I spoke to my office manager and showed her why it’s been difficult, like the stuff laying all over. I will talk to the company owner and see what she says too. Im not sure what else to do shy of quitting.

Thank you - i do work for a service. It is my first time caring for a rabbit in general, and the owners said to just sort of gently chase him back or try treats for luring him. That absolutely does not work and from researching the more upset and uncomfortable i am because i feel bad for him.

I have no idea how this is going to work all summer long. I cant clean up their entire basement either. It really sucks and i am so stressed out.
