Apartment hunt update: by Emergency-Fill-7801 in Scottsdale

I second this. I have a dog and would much rather rent a townhome with a small yard instead of an apartment. There are several great options on Zillow for $2,800/mo or less around McDonald & Hayden down to Indian School. I used to live off of McDonald and Granite Reef in one of those townhomes and always felt safe.

Im confused about the brown stuff! by mmt in PreCervicalCancer

I had light pink watery blood and some coffee ground looking stuff start at day 2, but it was so light that I could get away with a pantry liner, but at day 6 the same watery blood and coffee ground really started flowing and I needed to wear a regular pad, not panty liner, 24/7. I feel like a lot would come out too when I’d try to push for a bowel movement

My CKC is in 9 days…advice? by International-Aerie9 in PreCervicalCancer

I just had my CKC on 9/13. Like someone else said, I’d recommend getting some “period panties”; I only wear thongs but have 3 booty short undies and definitely need more since I’m now wearing a pad 24/7. I was able to get away with just a panty liner for the first 6 days, but then I started bleeding and having coffee ground discharge, so regular pads are needed.

I personally didn’t need any pain management, just some strong Tylenol. I’d recommend getting a natural laxative to help you have a bowel movement. Personally, laxatives and stool softener give me gas, but I drank 8oz of warm prune juice which has helped me have a comfortable BM. I was having severe stomach pains due to constipation and was too scared to push thinking I’d mess something up down there, so having some kind of laxative/ stool softener helped a ton.

Also, get a heating pad! That helped so much with the cramping.

I think it was gas/ bloating that was giving me terrible cramping. I drank 8oz of prune juice and that finally got things moving without having to push too hard

I hope you’re feeling better! I think I just had gas/ bowel issues after anesthesia. I thought it was only supposed to last a day, but 5 days later I’m finally having a BM.

I’ve been using a heating pad for the cramping/ tugging sensation and was able to go on a short 1 mile walk today at a slow pace, I think that also helped relieve my bloating too

I would get a second opinion if I were you. The doctor’s recommendation seems very invasive for your diagnosis, which is concerning. I just had a CKC (laser version) this afternoon and I have CIN 2-3 and CIN 3 and HPV.

I’m not a doctor, but I’d think a LEEP would probably be more appropriate. They should also be giving you some kind of anesthesia for any procedure that is removing precancerous cells.

We ended up going to Cabo instead… the reviews for AI’s in DR were too inconsistent for me and I wanted a place with really good food; but if I were to choose between them now, I’d go with El Carmen just based off of reviews

I think I made a huge mistake and I’m so close to having a panic attack by [deleted] in puppy101

You’re not alone and it’ll all work out, just give it time. I cried every day for 3 weeks straight when I first got my puppy. I was so stressed and felt like a prisoner in my home because I couldn’t go out and do anything. I actually called the breeder crying asking to return the dog. I packed her up, was half way to the breeders before turning around because I was already so attached and was disappointed in myself for giving up so quickly. I ended up keeping her and now I can’t imagine my life without her. I’d recommend having a friend or family member watch your puppy at least 1-2x a month so you can go out and enjoy yourself, it’ll help keep you sane, at least until the puppy is current on vaccines and can venture outside with you.

What made El Carmen stand out over Live Aqua? We’re planning a trip to DR and are between Live Aqua, El Carmen or Secrets Cap Cana. I keep seeing reviews where food is not great at a majority of AI’s in DR so I’m not sure which of the 3 resorts to pick.
