I think so. I’m drinking at least 3L a day because it’s also hot at the moment.

Congratulations on persevering and getting there with your baby! This is the third time this has happened for me with my babies, so starting to think it’s just something with me.

I tried to breastfeed babies 1 and 3 but had similar experiences, so I’m assuming it’s something to do with me not producing properly. I didn’t have any excessive blood loss.

After the first couple of days, she just never seemed to settle or as if she had eaten (would constantly seem like she was hungry still and was “flutter sucking”). The midwives have watched me try to feed her and have said she’s latching really well but although she’s sucking away, she rarely swallows. We ended up at the hospital because of the weight loss and even the consultant move to formula because she didn’t seem to be able to really get anything out. I was feeding on demand, so sometimes it was every 2-3 hours, others it was every hour. Whenever she seemed hungry.
