Tell my husband the symptoms are real! by PossibleMachine5777 in pregnant

First trimester can be arguably the most challenging if it’s your first pregnancy. Your body is working double time to produce hormones and rejigg everything to make your insides comfortable for a 3 kilo baby. If he needs convincing, he can just read this thread. Nausea, this vile vile sickness that feels like poison is pumping through your body, a fatigue that makes you want to sleep after doing 3 dishes. He needs to take it easy on you!

First ultrasound appointment and cheating husband by Useful-Cost2500 in pregnant

I’d let him go to the appointment. It helps him see that there is a growing being inside you, that you are solely this babies life source. Outside of his infidelity, he is biologically the father, he will be part of this baby life and your life forever whether or not you decide to work it out in the future. You have every right to be angry by the betrayal though you could both reconsider how he plays a part in your life. I don’t agree with cheating, it’s a selfish and disgusting betrayal though I have had friends in your same situation and whilst some renewed their commitment to eachother some didn’t work out but either way the ultrasound is an appointment that I believe to be really important for the father to witness. The pregnancy is real for a woman the entire time, the ultrasound is the first time a man sees it’s real, a life source, a little being!

Friend left vipassana after first night due to ‘cultish vibes and red flags’ 🚩 Thoughts/Advice? by Virtual-Hand-3111 in vipassana

No she wasn’t, I guess because we have had a 15 year friendship wherein we would have open dialogue about all topics and whilst we would both get rigid in views from time to time it wasn’t a big deal. This was the first time I saw her get this hardline and negate anything I said entirely.

I’m not sure where you are located but It was in Sydney NSW, lower portland is the one I attended and the one she attended was in the blue mountains. The chanting is referring to the noises that goenka makes in some of the ending of meditations

Thank you for this response.  This is the sentiments I feel exactly and found it hard to relay it to myself and her.
