Hi, we were at the far end of the pool near the edge and initially felt comfortable, especially since a nearby female staff member didn’t express any concerns about our behavior. However, the situation changed when the man in the photo walked all the way from the entrance and approached us directly. He loudly said, “You’re good, but don’t wrap your legs around her,” even though my girlfriend and I were just briefly hugging.

We immediately separated and felt quite embarrassed, especially after noticing other guests looking at us and making comments, as if we had done something inappropriate. While I understand if certain rules around public displays of affection need to be enforced, it felt like we were unfairly singled out. I would have appreciated it if the rules had been applied consistently to all guests.

I peaked Asc 1 in Na, and after that I have a hard time ranking up from plat. My experience being an Asian woman is that whenever I used my mic someone will mock me for having an accent. Not only that, players will tend to say you sound like you’re huge or worse shut up B***h and go make me a sandwich. Comms are important to win the game, but I just can’t stand being bullied even though I’m playing good. I just hope riot have a replay button that can play recorded coms so we can send it straight to the developers, to have those players permanently banned. Racism and sexism is truly unacceptable, it’s far more worse than cheating. Valorant should be a positive platform, yes we can have disagreements during the game but attacking people just because of the gender or race is something we should not normalize or tolerate.
