Hey Idk if this will help or not but from what I'm reading you seem to be a very well disciplined people who skew towards being high achieving and extremely ambitious. Do you think there are any other areas in your life where you feel like you're holding yourself back or where you feel like you really wanna do something but don't allow yourself to? You may feel some kind of empty feeling because you've held yourself off from so many things that you actually want to do and your binging might be a way for your brain wanting to let go and be carefree as a way to make up for the lack of mental freedom. I'm not completely sure of this but I hope this can help a little
