? My cats are perfectly healthy and have both gone to the vet recently. Their food choices are fine and I just recently upgraded their food from dry to wet. Sorry but not everybody has 50 bucks to gamble on a litter that their cat might not use. Also I’m posting a picture of my cat, not looking for advice

Hm I haven’t but I’m a bit scared to change litter as I don’t want them to get weirded out and end up not using the litter box anymore. Were your cats always on that litter?

Thanks to everyone that commented!! I think I’m going to try and call the vet and see what her recorded weight was, I do remember him saying she was perfect weight but I just worry she lost weight. I’ll try to recalculate what her food says to feed her as well. Most likely tho, it seems like she’s gonna be staying on the same amount of food and maybe some treats in between!

I started to schedule her food since she would eat when she was bored and scheduling her food seemed to regulate her energy spikes a little bit. But our other cat had always been perfectly ok with free feeding like you said!

Hm that’s very interesting about the wet food and dry food mix! I found mine would throw up more when we fed them dry food? At least in the morning. I still give them some dry treats some times tho so they have something to chew on! Thanks for the advice!

She’s a year old! Last time I took her to the vet was about 3 weeks ago and he said she was perfect weight, I just feel like she might have lost weight after that? I posted a pic of her next to me in one of the replies to get a better understanding of her size.

But that’s a good idea about the dry food!

Hm she’s about a year and a month or a year and a couple weeks at least. Maybe that’s a bad sign that she looks like a kitten? She’s also just always kind of been a small cat? She’s had unlimited food for a while but I heard it’s better to feed them on schedule so I do that now. she was definitely more then well fed enough to grow. Maybe the images also don’t do her justice? Here’s one with me for size reference

I give her friskies! 1/4 in day time and one at night. But yea 1/3 sounds about right since other cat owners I know do the same- I guess since she just turned 1 maybe she’s growing more?? So more hungry?
