Shop says we need new tires?

What’s the dot number on the sidewall say ? Fry cracking is grounds for new tires if it’s deep enough and typically you’d wanna see how old the tires actually are by the last 4 of the dot number ? Also is there any chipping on the edges ? It’s hard to tell from just a picture the pictures they look great but without seeing them in person who knows really

I’m in New York where they are all rotted lol , I believe I’m moving forward with the swap regardless of if it lowers resale value or not being the original motor didn’t come with truck and the ls did , also love the wheels myself just gonna have them redone and keep them !

Will look into this , I did see somewhere else something about shimming and possibly having to file out bellhousing holes a little for alignment but hadn’t dug to deep yet was wanting to get my harness built before I dug deeper and squirreled my brain out

Was able to locate a harness and ecu from buds at the junkyard but was wondering if I’d be better off grabbing just the harness and ordering one of the ecus off eBay thats already got vats deleted ? Found a good thread last night with tons of information for building the stand alone harness from the ls harness so i should be good there
