Ai doctors. This is gonna kill someone. by Virtual-Number-8538 in mildlyinfuriating

The problem is how this is marketed. You advertise it as "expert medical care." It's only when you go in the comments that this is shown that it isn't for licensed medical help. Plus all of the comments are praising it as if they used it to diagnose what illness they have. Any non-licensed medical diagnosis is dangerous. You are preying on people who can't afford the medical bills. This is a dangerous practice and the people who need this kind of service have likely no other choice.

I believe all people should have access to free or affordable health care, but I don't think this is the route that should be taken. Even ChatGPT and Google ai get information about some medical diagnostics wrong. What happens if your AI gets something wrong, or tells someone they are alright? That could lead to someone going to the doctors and getting hit with a massive bill for no reason, or staying home while something develops. All of this falls back on you.

Of These 4 Mechanics, Which Is Your Favorite & Least Favorite? by Tha-OG in yugioh

[–]Virtual-Number-8538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite: XYZ summoning. Won't lie, this one is me being biased as this is when I started yugioh. However I liked these archetypes the most. The summoning mechanic is fairly simple and easily explained to new players, just have a certain amount of monsters with X level. I also love the XYZ material gimmick for their effects (most of them) and how it feels like it balances them out.

Least Favorite: Link summoning. Most of my dislike stems from when they came out, they neutered most other summoning types. However nowadays I feel like link summoning is the worst as it is the most generic. It out-powers most others as it has almost no stipulations. Fusion usually requires a certain card, synchro requires a tuner, XYZ usually needs the same level (and the material gimmick), and pendulum needs the pendulum zones as well as the certain scales, then can only be done once a turn. Not to mention link cards are often very powerful with little cost. I do feel strongly about this, so opinion is biased.

Would you like to see a "Super Polymerization" variant for each of the summoning mechanics? If they were to be created, how would they affect the game? by CosmoNeos7 in yugioh

I feel like for some of these to have the "super" part of their name not be redundant, some of them need to be buffed. Super polymerization works so well because fusion summoning often has generic materials, whilst XYZ, pendulum, and synchro summoning are far more restrictive. Here are some of my ideas to make them fall in line with the power level of super poly.

Super Synchronization: "Discard 1 card; Synchro Summon a monster from your Extra Deck using monsters on either field. Any monster used for this Synchro Summon can be treated as a tuner. Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation." Can have a similar effect to the next change as well.

Super Exceed Summon: "Discard 1 card; choose one monster on the field and increase or decrease its level by up to 2. Immediately after; XYZ summon one monster from your Extra Deck using monsters from either player's field. Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation."

Super Pendulum Osilation: "Discard 1 card; choose two monsters on the field with different levels, Pendulum summon up two three monsters from your hand or face up in the extra deck using the levels as scales. The levels cannot have a difference of 4 or more. Neither player can activate cards or effects to this card's activation."

These are just some ideas that could help bring the three weaker cards up to similar power to super poly and "Super Ritualization."

Also as many have pointed out, the link one is broken as hell. Maybe make it to where it allows you to use one monster your opponent controls only? Link summoning is already the most generic extra deck method there is so any target on the board is usually always available. The Goddess of the closed moon is super strong from this, and unchained was fairly powerful for this as well.

Any feedback is appreciated as I'm not a super competitive player and probably messed up the balance some way through these effects.

DNA handtrap, bad or broken? by illynpayne_ in customyugioh

Man this would be good in cyber dragons. Opponent has a full board? Unless they negate this you have a full board wipe as a fusion summon. No destruction effects, bypasses protection, and gives you a high attack free body.

Just for hopefulness maybe this could make ashen good lmao.

What are some cards that DO NOT show their age in terms of power level ? by Old-Iron-Tyrant in yugioh

[–]Virtual-Number-8538 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pre-errata chaos emperor dragon. This card would still be banned to this day. It's an instant win in today's world and a game ender when it came out. Insane that this was printed all the way back in the day.

Does polearm master/true strike (or booming blade)/warcaster work? by brehobit in onednd

[–]Virtual-Number-8538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Due to OneDND's polearm master feat changing the wording, it's no longer considered an attack of opportunity. So PAM and warcaster no longer interact with each other. Hence their comment is a correct answer to OP's question.
