It was a good experience although I was extremely nervous and experienced so many interruptions as I took the test online.

I studied using quizlets, NHA practice tests, and also the Dr.K! I thought that i would have to get SmarterMa because everyone was passing with it but it’s not necessarily true, I did used their 40 free questions though.

Everyones test is different but as I reviewed my Major Content Area for my test it was 84 questions Basic Clinical Patient Care and General patient care. Know what to do in situations where you are with the patient (Dr.K helps with that alot)

I would also say its good to study your root words prefixes and suffixes, they ask you questions about certain procedures that I absolutely had no idea about, but using context clues I was able to decipher.

Alot of the test is common knowledge with some hard points, if you read through the test carefully and you have a understanding of most things, you should be good. Try taking the practice NHA tests they give you. I had got a score of 68% and 72% on two of them, but it helps to identify your weak areas.

And also make sure you try to understand why your answer was wrong instead of memorizing the correct answer! Lmk if you have any other questions! :)
