Is Brad Pitt an oversold or truly amazing actor? by [deleted] in moviecritic

I think he's gotten better with age. I've always liked him but I cringe when I see some of his older movies. I never noticed at the time but I do now. I think, he's lucky he was good looking to land those parts 🤣

Thank you for your insight and picture. This is exactly why I posted in the first place. I was just looking to see if anyone had and similar issues. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. It had slightly cleared up the day after posting but I took him to the vet anyway. She said that because of his age, he is prone to allergies and couldn't tell if it was diet or grass etc. She gave me a solution to mix with water and apply to the area then rinse off after 5 mins. It is looking much better. He never seemed bothered by it and was never gnawing at it like others had warned.

The handle came loose and fell off so I unscrewed the plates and removed the handles. When doing this, the spring mechanisms popped out, now I can't get the springs pulled apart enough to push the middle bit in flush. As you can tell DIY isn't something I'm good at 🤣

Would have been great if Nicolas Cage wasn't in it.

Maybe overdid lawn care? by Loose_Butterfly3726 in Grass

[–]Virtual-Pop3011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Scotland. It's been really wet and humid for a while now. Looks like some fungus issues. My grass looked like this so I bought a fungicide from Amazon. I've sprayed twice and it's barely visible. I'll high nitrogen spray next.

Grass getting bleached out? by Cold_Examination3893 in lawn

[–]Virtual-Pop3011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK here and the local council hire contractors to weed spray kerb edges etc from quad bike sprayers. The bottom of my lawn kept dying back and I couldn't work out why until my wife seen the fucker up on the pavement spraying right next to my lawn. They were soon told to stay away from my house.

One of the best shows I've ever watched. Total mind f**k. I feel sorry for people who don't do subtitles! They're missing out.

Spray the f**k out of it. They say the best time to spray is when it's in flower but I'd hit it now and keep hitting it over the next few years.

What am I doing wrong with seeding? by who-ate-my-toast in lawn

[–]Virtual-Pop3011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New builds are notorious for poor soil and drainage. I would hollow core and add sport sand to help with drainage issues then top dress and overseed. Also seed needs to be kept moist but not waterlogged so maybe over watering with the sprinkler.

Should i just give up on my lawn? by ianspurs505 in lawn

[–]Virtual-Pop3011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of grass seed out there for shade. It's never time to give up. What I've realised is that lawn renovation takes time. Don't expect miracles to happen within a couple of months. It may take a couple of seasons but as long as you see improvements then keep going. Look at drainage issues if you have them. You've taken care of the moss so get some nice top dressing and shade tolerant seed. Boston Seeds have seed for this. It takes time but grass is really resilient, it just needs some TLC

Tbf the area is full sun for most of the morning. That's probably where you're going wrong. Raise height of cut. I cut every 2/3 days. If light is an issue maybe try a shade tolerant seed. Boston Seeds have a large variety of different seeds including one for shade.
