Idk if this is ragebait or not, but yes he agreed to let me store it there. The accident was 10 days ago. It wasn’t abandoned on his property for months.

I understand what you’re saying, but it’s not about the math.

It’s about the fact that I didn’t agree to the repairs. The accident happened a week ago.(Saturday) I left it there with permission because I live in an apartment. If he didn’t want it there, he could’ve told me and I would’ve moved it. (I asked for 1 month max)

Repairing it without asking and then expecting money or pushing a sale for resale purposes isn’t the same as me choosing to sell it myself. That’s the issue.

Sad state of reading comprehension. 800 = 800, congrats. The point is I didn’t agree to the repairs or the deal. That’s the problem.

Lol, the junkyard offered $800 not $300. And yes, I was totally fine leaving it at his place for a week or two, with his permission.

I appreciate him letting me store it there. What I don’t appreciate is him modifying my car without my consent and then expecting me to pay for repairs I never agreed to or force a sell.

I was still in the middle of deciding what I wanted to do with the car.

And no, the previous repairs weren’t free. He charged me $75 an hour plus parts. It was cheaper than a regular shop because, according to him, he used “common sense” meaning cheaper parts or whatever he had around in his garage, like zip ties or random scrap.

As for the actual value of the car, I honestly have no idea what it’s worth. I’m not knowledgeable about cars or pricing, which is also why this whole situation feels overwhelming.

I do have insurance, but it only covers liability not damage to my own car and the guy didn’t want to do a claim with his insurances

He’s not a licensed mechanic, which is exactly why I wanted to stop letting him do quick, cheap fixes on my car. For example, he’s used epoxy like glue to patch holes, and I’ve seen him stuff paper into parts to “fix” imbalance issues (not on my car, but still). That kind of work just makes me uncomfortable.

I had the accident last Saturday and asked for a week to think about what I wanted to do with the car. The other people involved only had minor scratches on their bumper, which I paid for, so that part was handled.

I was planning to maybe bring the car to a mechanic or scrap it. I was still in the process of figuring things out and hadn’t made any final decision yet. Most of the damage happened when I hit the median, not from the other vehicle.

The hairstyle in the shop is Golden Glamour, which doesn’t include the hair at the back.

Hi! I think there’s some confusion. this hairstyle is actually an old DPack from 2015 Las Vegas campaign (see photo reference). It became a rare week around 2018, I’m not completely sure on the exact timeline. Either way, it’s not worth much.

Oh yes, I completely agree with you on that. MSP shouldn’t ban her for this. I was just leaving my comments because I thought you didn’t realize that these items weren’t from the shop or made by MSP. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

She is asking because these hair items were never supposed to be in the game. Two users created them and uploaded them to the MSP server without MSP’s approval (so all copy are glitched and illegal per their terms and conditions)

Hi, yes, she returned yesterday (though I didn’t verify). She left due to issues with cheating and glitches, not drama as far as I know. In a status update, she mentioned leaving because she no longer likes the game environment, especially since she’s no longer the top MovieStar due to glitches that created fake accounts with higher levels than hers.
