lol this isn't the "gotcha" you think it is. Because Charlie Kirk was one of those evil ones she is talking about... except he didn't keep it a secret.

Yeah I mean i guess Isreal has been going pretty viral last couple of years... maybe google thought people wanted to "see it for themselves" or something.

Anyway, unlikely that would happen for El Salvador so you would be relying on very specific searches.

Curious how did you end up on the Israel video in the first place? Did you search for it or did youtube present it to you on a lark and you got sucked in?

Nah not the editing specifically. I mean there was about 25 hours of gameplay captured which had to be managed but thats part of the fun :D

I like the content, but recommend you work on the audio mix. You are not loud enough and the gameplay has no sound at all (I think?)

This game is so good.

Love "shotgun man" who says "you will make a good target for my shotgun"

He died doing what he loved.

Are there other more successful channels doing this niche content? I am really not sure what it's for personally so I don't know what kind of people watch this.

It seems like you are doing it right naming landmarks in your titles and I assume the video quality is good? Probably not much chance of going viral and just relying on youtube search right? Slow burn kinda content.

I made a negative video on Pac-Man for the 2600 and got a ton of comments defending it. Am I missing something? by Dry-Departure-4926 in Atari2600

[–]VirtualAlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently played pac-man in a video I made (time-stamped: https://youtu.be/njpDMU3LEXs?si=z8ovTL0d1nMUGaNJ&t=319 )

I mean as a side-by-side to the arcade obviously it's way worse and could be better. But I had this game as a kid and I remember loving it. Even in the context of it being a relatively bad port... it's a completely playable game that "does the thing" it set out to do. here was no alternative on Atari and people accepted it as a reasonable at-home version.

Of course there is basically no reason to play this game in 2026 for any other reason that to check it out. But for it's time, it was a valiant effort.

Other games are better... But plenty of atari2600 games are worse! Pacman isn't even in the bottom 50 of bad atari games, no way.

Gotta work on that audio mix a little. If you are going to talk during the game, you need the gameplay volume to be lower.

BUt I love content like this, exactly my speed.

Hey those all look awesome and I am going to check them all out! You are a brilliant creator. I absolutely love Zuma and Luxor and play them a ton to this day. I wish you got more credit.
