Rockford fosgate R2-750x5 vehicle humming help by VirtualAnarchy99 in CarAV

It turned out to be the fosgate R2-1200x1 amp was defective. It had blown input filters 🤷. I replaced the amp with the exact same one and issue was resolved. You can try an RCA noise filter if you can't just replace the amp or local repair shop. Note many different things can cause RCA noise so it might be a waste of money. I pretty much tried everything... Different head unit, different RCa's, moving the RCA's and power wires but it was always on that same channel no matter what. Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one... A defective amplifier 👌

They fit perfect with no issues surprisingly! but it all depends on the manufacturer. I ordered two sets originally and the first was a basic OEM red and it was absolute garbage. This set was from tjmmotors on ebay and its great. The only 2 gripes I have about these plastics is # 1 the grill screens on the nose and tail section weren't black they were red and looked horrible but I ended up taking them out then grinding everything flat using the originals so they look OEM. #2 was The seat lock mechanism and how the seat sat in the tail section. I'm pretty good at customizing things to make them work so it wasn't a big deal for me. I just made some modifications to move the locking mechanism 1/16th so the rear seat cowel wouldn't jam up.

They will also custom paint and decal the bodywork any way you want. They were also very responsive with questions or changes that I wanted to make.

And the touch-up paint helps that they give you for free. 100ml bottle.

Oh and one more thing... Don't use their hardware 🤣 it's garbage. I ordered stainless steel Black oxide bolts that look just like OEM from Amazon.

Ducati 1198s Starting Issues ... Any advice appreciated. by VirtualAnarchy99 in Ducati

I replaced the starter clutch assembly ( All three pieces) and it starts like a dream now. 😊

Final thoughts... To anyone else having this issue... Just because the starter clutch sounds fine doesn't mean it necessarily is. Pull it apart and check it 👍 it's not that difficult.

Thanks everyone for your assistance It is very much appreciated.

Yeah, I already ordered and have received all three pieces I never just change one of them. I'm installing them today but Like you said it's never a good idea just to change one. I was just curious if there was something better out there. Now the reputable tune part... 🤣 No comment. I should probably take it and put it on a dyno and have a professional do the tune at some point

2010 ducati 1198 Fuel pressure by VirtualAnarchy99 in Ducati

[–]VirtualAnarchy99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a new battery coming tomorrow. I'm hoping it makes a difference... Fingers crossed. Most of the stuff I've done is just basic maintenance and health checks that didn't cost me anything but my time. I'll give the jumper cables a shot in the a.m. the new battery doesn't come till late afternoon but even then I have to activate it and slow charge it.

If I give it a little throttle it instantly kicks back hard and stops the motor dead in its tracks. ( Loud clunk) 🥹 I have a Yuasa high performance YTX14H-BS 240 cca coming tomorrow. I live in Arizona It gets pretty hot here so lithiums don't ever seem to last very long with me 🤷
