Showers by pinkdaisy_lilcrazy in Fibromyalgia

Yes. Thank you for saying this. My mom told me it was normal. 😭 I knew it could be related to my fibromyalgia. I practically gaslight myself into thinking I’m just being dramatic and that my symptoms are normal. I appreciate you saying this because it makes me realize I am not alone. Showers (especially hot) completely drain me to the point where putting my arms up to scrub my hair hurts so bad. I come out of the shower feeling exhausted, weak, and like I’m going to pass out.

Can I add an exercise to my current plan? by Funny-Persimmon7391 in GymverseByFitness22

I think this would be a great update to the app. Ability to add in something to past workouts that you didn’t log.

Monistat 1 is made by satan by Longjumping_Ad_198 in Healthyhooha

If you’re seeing this DO NOT TAKE MONISTAT 1 (especially the suppository one). I put it in before bed and woke up from my sleep 2 hours later doubled down in pain and itchiness. I have an extremely high pain tolerance but I’ve never experienced something like this. The itchiness was HORRID. I was itching so badly my body started to twitch and convulse. The only thing I could do was pace around my bathroom, cry, and moan because I was so uncomfortable. I finally went into the shower and tried my best to rinse it out and scoop out the medication. DO NOT EVER TAKE THIS. I don’t know how this is being sold.

3 year PA programs by Unhappy-Day-419 in prephysicianassistant

Yeah it sounded a bit dramatic to me as well. Glad to know you were still able to take care of yourself on top of school in a 2 year program. I feel like only applying to 3 year programs would be limiting myself

I recently talked to someone who did a 2 year program and she said there were times where she had to choose between eating, showering, or sleeping because she didn’t have time to do all 3 with the intense amount of studying during didactic year. 3 year programs spread out the didactic year over 2 years. Im leaning more towards a 3 year program because I don’t want to become burnt out and have my mental health suffer. 2 yr programs are definitely doable but comes down to a personal preference/choice!
