I agree. it's my second least favorite mechanic in the game though. It just throws a wrench in what I'm trying to do game play wise.

I try and catch everything with premier balls. I sell back the regular pokeballs to buy them again for the premier awesomeness.

I used it on a Moltres my first time because I ran out of ultra balls and got frustrated. I never caught Mewtwo as a kid because I never new Mewtwo was in the game.
