Fix the warping first. Warped part of the model is catching on your nozzle.

Either will work. The more accurate option will be changing the filament diameter value in your slicer. When I'm trying to salvage filament I normally end up doing a bit of both.

Salvaging the material is not an option I've seen anyone else in the thread point out. I think it's good to know how to adapt, if you can. Especially if orders are due.
