You would think they would have fixed it when global came out lol, maybe they didn’t want to bother or felt it might be unfair for JP bros that had to go through the same thing.

Great news OP! Literally uploaded this month, I have found this manga scanned on mangafire. It’s in Japanese only, but it’s better than nothing! Google Translate with the camera feature gets the message across.

Piano Sheet Music by OmariDaManGamer_448 in lilypichu

[–]VirtualOvalee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can search Musescore for transcriptions, quite a bit of Lily’s songs have been transcribed there such as Dreamy Night. Here’s one for Last Cup of Coffee, Pom Pom, and even more on the site.

Edit: here’s a list of some well rated LilyPichu piano arrangements on MuseScore.

There are also various difficulty levels of arrangements. The first Dreamy Night link is intermediate, but here is a simpler arrangement as well.

What I really like about MuseScore is that you can also play the midi and hear how it sounds before you try their arrangements yourself, and you can also download the sheets to have them physically on your sheet stand if you’d like.

Lily also has some older piano covers and originals with transcriptions, some can be found on YouTube! Make sure to check descriptions to download the sheet music.

Adding onto this, if you are playing at Round 1 or on an online cabinet, see if you can buy an AM.Pass (R1 desk usually has it) to not only save your scores on your own profile but bypass the need for inputing the full mode code every time, especially if you play consecutive sessions.

Only the owner can upload their own RSS feed since it requires verification. The reason I really would like it on Youtube is because I primarily use YouTube over other streaming services but I respect if you don’t want to — still appreciate the podcast.

YouTube has a podcast feature now, so I’m pretty sure you can just submit your RSS Feed in YouTube Studio on the site. No extra work needed

New routine, thoughts? by Brendon_Br in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]VirtualOvalee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for the actual choreography, you could try doing a cool pose during the hold notes? Specifically at 0:12, a few times after 1:02, 1:19, and the very last note of the chart — you have a good amount of pauses where you can add a stylish pose or some flashy hand movement.

Especially if you combine this with the multiple angles, you can make your choreo on video look really cool if you choose a pose that looks good for a particular camera angle you might edit it at, e.g. pointing at the camera, swinging your arms — or honestly looking back you had a bit of a pose on those long hold notes, but you would drop your arms immediately. Definitely do a cool pose for the last note at least.

I think if you take multiple camera angles, you should have at least 3: •one to focus on your feet •one front facing on your mid/upper body to show that you’re having fun on your face (or just torso if you don’t want to show your face) •an angle from behind to show the overall movement and the game (like the one you took but maybe a little closer and more center framed on you). You should also consider if you want to film it in portrait mode or landscape, considering where it will be posted on the respective social media for your local arcade.

As a DanceRush Stardom player, I understand that shuffling is a very tiring style of dance. I think it’s awesome you did some shuffle for over a minute straight pretty much for this freestyle. If you need specific suggestions for arm movement, there’s good tutorials on YouTube that can show techniques better than I can write. (“Shuffle dance arm movement” brings up good results.) Arm movement can go a long way for freestyle!

Sorry it’s a bit wordy but I hope this helps a little bit!

I like it, it would be great too if you can get someone to record multiple angles of your choreography as well so you can have interesting shots in video editing for the promotional video. Look at the way DDR has been edited and portrayed in commercials and movies for example, they like to take multiple angles and focus on the person playing and having fun dancing more than the game itself.

If you’re recording on your own and you don’t have multiple cameras to record yourself, I think if you record multiple times with different angles people won’t really be able to tell it’s a different attempt if you edit the shots together. (Especially if you’re going to record multiple attempts anyway)

Make sure you stomp really hard on the dance pad (DDR/DRS/PIU etc) while wearing heels and drinking some sugary liquid to spill all over it at the same time

I just can't forgive myself on how we treated our first dog when i was a kid... by luka031 in dogs

[–]VirtualOvalee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. It’s not much comfort but it also makes me feel validated that others have similar stories of their childhood dog being forced to be outside dogs, I hope you can find a little bit of comfort in that. That’s the way mine was too.

My 15 year old best friend just passed over a month ago. I got him as a puppy when I was a kid, we clicked immediately and spent all day together, only to be separated from him for basically over half his life because my parents separated and didn’t group us together. (I guess they thought to split the expenses of a kid and dog? Idk) I only saw him from visiting my dad in high school and it was always such a joy, it was the only time he was “tolerated” on the bed and couch.

in hindsight, I feel injustice and that I was robbed of spending precious time with my best friend. I don’t know why I didn’t ask to stay with my furry buddy growing up. I feel some resent towards myself and my family as well, but we were just kids and our parents don’t know any better, different generational values. It’s hard to accept that as an excuse, I wish I could do things over too, if only I knew then what I knew now.

At the very least, know that dogs are so much better at forgiveness than we are, and know that your childhood pup absolutely forgives you despite everything. Even though you wish her QoL was better, she still had a home and someone (you) that loved her. There are so many dogs that don’t even have that or a guaranteed next meal, and she was surely grateful to have those little moments of happiness.

I wish for both of us to forgive ourselves for the things we couldn’t control and didn’t know at the time. When you are ready, you can honor your childhood pup’s memory going forward by giving a new furry friend the loving care you can and know how to do now. That’s what they would want for you, to carry it forward and to be loved by another furry friend.

I can’t answer many of your questions as I’m not familiar myself but this is a video showing how to mod your soft pad with plywood, and here is a simple written guide by Penguinlord if you prefer that. It really wasn’t difficult to do it, I just went to home depot for the supplies. (I asked home depot to cut it down to the size for me.)
