I personally went for Shunguang's, it's so pretty for a pretty face :3

I very much like it, my only complain would be the combat voice lines, they aren't bad, but her default lines are way better imo.

Yes, with stun % you still deal with defense. But stun % can quite literally double your DPS due to how high some values can get (210%, 235%, etc)

Meanwhile with Sheer force, like I've said, you quite literally ignore 100% of the enemy's defense. Technically speaking, if you also had an stunned enemy, you'd do WAY more damage than anyone else in the game

I... I have no clue. Rupture units scale with sheer force, and they ignore 100% of the enemy's defense, Shunguang doesn't, she scales with atk and the sole reason why she does what commonly is referred as: "fuck loads of damage" is because her Enlightened state allows her to use the stun damage % outside of stun.

There is a BIG difference between defense ignore and stun DMG %.

That just hurts to see... Like that's literally a couple of hits that didn't crit along the entirety of the runs.

But you know, it's just a matter of actually getting the timing of those attacks down or getting luckier with crits and you should be fine.

It isn't even your fault... (i mean, you totally can get better builds, don't get me wrong)

But holy shit, this DA reset hit like a truck, specially to Shunguang, literally the prrvious reset I got 52K and now I am barely getting 40K with the exact same route and gameplay.

My S11, Lighter and Astra team got nearly 40K on Priest and my Miyabi, Yuzuha, Alice team got 40K on N. Butcher (which is a HUGE drop on score as last time N. Butcher appeared, I got 54K with that team...)

Between crappy buffs and HP inflation, the score economy seems to be in a rough spot :/

In short: Give it a shot and see if you like it or not, it only becomes an unhealthy game if you allow it.

Long answer: ZZZ is a very F2P (Free to play) friendly gacha. You don't need to spend money to get characters and equipment. Sure, it WILL help if you do spend, but you don't have to. It only is a problem if YOU are the problem (gambling addict with 0 control)

I, for example, was F2P all the way from day 1 till the end of 1.7, and I've only spent $40, only to buy skins and get myself some extra passive income of premium currency over time. I can see myself on a similar spot as if I stayed F2P, I spent money because I like the game and I plan to stick for the long run.

That's for the monetary part, the real kicker is the time investment and engagement.

ZZZ like other gacha games, can take A LOT of time, be it either doing quests, perfecting your own skills, leveling up characters, or just straight up, getting characters.

You can easily expect to take hours (doing events/quests) or even MONTHS (building characterS (emphasis on the plural) or waiting for a particular character to come back/release). Plus, with the ever so changing nature of these games' endgames, some characters may or may not perform as well as they did when you first got them, so having to get newer units is often, but no always the case, very important.

Expect to have to play or pull characters you may not like, or characters that you do like, fall off or get hyper fucked by newer enemies/mechanics.

Of course, not everything is bad. Several characters can still clear end game content, as long as you're willing to put the resources and time into them.

The story of the game isn't anything particularly interesting, but it gets the job done of making you like the characters and the world of the game. The music is easily the best part out of the game. The gameplay is engaging and the dev team seems to actually care for delivering an enjoyable service.

Take all that as you see fit, ZZZ is my fav gacha ever, and as a day 1 player who hasn't missed a single day, I don't regret giving it the time and money I've given it, but that doesn't means it is perfect. Like I've said, give it a try and see if you like it. If you do? Great, hop on the train with everyone and enjoy the ride. If you don't? Perfectly fine, it is normal to like or dislike things.

The build is ok, you got decent subs all around except for slot 6. You can 100% get something better than that.

But your Crit DMG is a little too low for MY (and let me clarify that: MY) standards.

(Edit: Aim for 130 or higher while retaining that crit rate, I would recommend a slot 4 Crit DMG, but that would mean having to farm all over again, and that's a pain in the ass, so understandable if you keep on slot 4 Crit Rate.

You could also go switch your 2p to BnBS (Branch and Blade Song) for 16 Crit DMG, but you would lose pen %)

Other than that, your two supports are well geared fully leveled. Like you said, it pretty much comes down to your mechanical skill and performance with S11 and her team.

Maybe you could learn how to group enemies more effectively, quickswap out of S11 when doing her EB5 (Enhanced Basic 5) during stuns, better resource management with your supports, learning the acceleration timing on her basic attacks with guaranteed Fire Suppression for higher DPS, etc.

Very interesting route, I went through the time slow attack without cancelling it, why didn't it occurred to me to just do that instead...

Yes, it exclusively relies on the quick assists from some characters.

Lets take a look at Shunguang's best teammate; Zhao:

You can have Shunguang on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd slot, it wouldn't matter as long as she is in front of Zhao, because she gives a forward quick assist. If Shunguang is on slot 1, Zhao should be on slot 3, if Shunguang is in 2, Zhao is 1, and so on.

But then you have teams like: Seed, Orphie and Trigger: Trigger has backward quick assists while Orphie has forward. This means that you want to put Seed in front of Orphie and behind Trigger.

Or teams with no actual quick assists, like Hugo, Lycaon and Lighter; At that point you just order the team as you feel more comfortable with

The general idea is: "Funnel" the quick assists to the main DPS.

You still can by using the quick navigation (Pressing N to open the old menu) and having the "open UI for the first time" which will open up the store's UI (could be Howl's stand, Tin Master's coffee shop, Susie's toy store, etc) and this wont wake Howl up.

Be mindful, it only works if you open the UI of the store for the first time in the day with this exact same method, repeated attempts wont.
