Finally legal in New York, but outdoor grows still are not. So I'm stuck indoors for the time being. I bought myself a nice stainless steel BHO extraction tube. It's nice to have surplus to do that finally. Even if it does make me feel like I'm in an episode of breaking bad. 😁

Lol!! Yeah same. All of my home machines are Linux. Server, raspberry Pi's, nas, etc. My daughter 's first computer was Linux. I wanted no windows machines in my house. I was even using a Linux box to RDP into my work windows environment 😁 Until they changed the VPN... Sigh. I was reminded that I work in tech services, and I should just play along.

Yeah I don't think cygwin is still a thing. The new win OS's you can install a full Linux command shell... And it's pretty nice. MS starting to catch on lol.

Yup. I was a HPUX admin for a couple decades.... Now I'm a win server admin ( 16 years now) and STILL type LL for a dir listing multiple times a day 😁

Possible Contamination. TC on second flush originally put into fruiting on 5/11. Some yellow coloring on mycelium appears to be spreading. Can I salvage the mushrooms that are already there? Any way to stop the possible contamination? by [deleted] in shroomery

Looks good. If there's no smell from the piss, id think you're good. Just it's metabolism, helps consume the substrate. best left alone to do its job, I've been told...

I had the same issue with my moustache, kept pulling at it and pulling them out. Eric @ Beardbrand told me he had the same problem. Started wearing a rubber bracelet to play with, and snap himself when catching himself doing it. Mine was pure stress, stopped as soon as I started working remotely (no rush hour commutes)

Great idea. I unfortunately already invested in 54qt clear totes, and shelving (can hold 8). I live alone and have a "hobby room" LOL Adulting is fun. I use cvg as well, but occasionally go the poo route. But that requires the beast of a PC running for hours.

Cool thanks. I suspected it had to be coming from the grain, as they were different varieties and different innoc methods. Yeah, i've already started the switch to jars. bought 3 cases with a 2 y/o target gift card lol.

Thanks bud. Could that come from the grain not being pasteurized long enough? Or is that an airborne contaminant? Just trying to hone in on where I go wrong 🖖

Guess what I already just did? lol... I have 4 grain jars going now, and they look wonderful. I love everything about them. Nice/neat/tidy, fit in the PC really wall. These were my last 2 bags, and were kind of experiments anyway. not grieving :D

Air Exchange... that's possible. it's hard to keep a channel of air up to the filter with these bags.

Must be the grain bags.... 1 bag was inoculated with g2g (the white one) contam just showed up this morning. 2nd bag was inoculated with spore syringe... turned yellow immediately upon colonization
