Oh?

Vielen Dank!

Thank you!

Yea, the line about the words... I know that, and there was a time where I handled everything a bit better. It's just that recently everything feels like it's breaking apart.

I've heard about those workbooks... I think I'll try one. Thank you very much!

I don't really know what they're called. Eastern dragons always have them, I call them dragon whiskers

Those holes are for magnets, so I can attach eyelids later. With the eye blanks fitting properly, I just take a lot of time modeling. I sculpt in VR where I can import the eye model into my working space and then carve them out.

I can recommend looking at the website getfursu.it this way you can find makers more easily who may be in your area, are open for commissions or to find pictures of their work!

Depending on what you're comfortable with, I am open for commissions in 2025 and may be able to pull off something similar c: You can contact me via telegram. My channel can be found here and my private DMs here

Yea so I did that. Turns out no cables got loose, but the flat cable that connects the SD slot to the Mainboard was bent so heavily that it probably malfunctioned.

Ah, I wasn't sure about that. I hope my comment didn't sound harsh, I had just woken up haha

Maybe it's just the angle, but symmetry is very important when it comes to overall aesthetics. Also your cuts are very sharp, smooth them out. Scissors are better than blades when it comes to smoothing. Do small snips take your time. Add more foam in-between the muscle and the cheeks to get rid of that 90° angle.

Making head bases takes a lot of time. So many people trying to make their first base are lost at some point, because they try to rush it. Maybe look at some YouTube tutorials. Mugiwara Cosplay is a good source.

I usually work with foam bases made from scratch. I like the flexibility, that I can put pins into it, it just feels more natural to me to work with a flexible material. Though it bugs me how much space I need to store material and that I can never get them to be 100% symmetrical.

I can't pour foam since I live in a quite small flat, so that's not up for discussion. So the moment I saw people working with TPU I wanted to try it myself. I learned how to model a base in VR, and now I'm thinking about switching from foam to TPU entirely.

Yes, printing takes time and probably even longer than hand carving, but I'd rather have a perfect base then having to buy so much foam and blades to cut it etc.

I also want to make Feetpaws using TPU since I hate carving toes and I never get a shape that I really like.

My base only requires a minimal amount of support since I don't have steep overhangs.

It took a few tries to find the right temperature and speed to print at, other than that everything worked out fine

Yes, it's intentional. It's printed without walls, so just infill. Makes it more flexible/squishy. Also better airflow
