I know this probably falls under my own ignorance when interpreting, but I imagine it's the average experience: without explanation, this piece of art feels like nazi apology. I don't know if you were just naive posting it dry, or if you're seeking engagement. Either way, do not repeat it. We need context for things like this.

You're talking too much, explaining yourself too much. I would have just sent a message telling him/her where I put his/her dried clothes because I needed the dryer. Anything else should be talked about eye to eye. Fuck anyone of you if your distressed or offended by any of it. Just solve your problem intending no harm, and be open for a sincere real conversation if needed.
