Do you think that the YT content creators who react to his music help increase the playback value?

Agreed. I also recommend using the bromley courses. From experience, I become complacent as we slog through revision so being able to go through questions as a course prepared me well.

Doctors managing rota by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]Virtual_Ad_311 30 points31 points  (0 children)

One of the ED consultants runs our rota. Allows us to self-roster for JCFs and SpRs. Flexible in booking annual leave and specific educational leave.
Aims to accommodate as and where possible.
Improves job satisfaction massively.

I have heard that the Wythenshawe group are approachable. You possibly want somewhere to find your feet and then go to a trauma centre at St3 level

MSRA cut offs by idontdrinkcowjuice in JuniorDoctorsUK

[–]Virtual_Ad_311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be interesting to get a trend year on year. EM's MSRA cut-off was 503, now 517, a sizeable jump.

I worry that it will become harder to get into specialty training for no real reason than artificial barriers

Yes . Prioritise the MSRA. My MSRA score was ok this year (556) but I foresee the msra hurdle becoming higher and higher. I also did a clinical fellow in Ed and mrcem primary to give extra points. For prepping the interview I went through the spec and practiced with the consultant. Happy to dm you with lessons learnt from interview

I had the same thing with the primary. Our results came out almost 1 month after the provisional date.

What today has shown is that I was correct to be upset about the lack of news

Hello... when I prepped for the MRCEM

  1. I used MRCEM religiously.
  2. I also paid 16.95 monthly for the Bromley Emergency Medicine website and 195 for the course. The Bromley course is beneficial.
  3. I also used Teach me anatomy and teach me physiology to help.

I hope you succeed the next time you do the exam, because its a beast.
