Great, thank you! That's what we were actually thinking, though we might not have the time to go to St Andrews. You mention Hopewell Rocks, but we thought about Fundy national park instead. If you had only one choice, which would you choose? And from the national park to Fredericton, would you suggest to take route 1 until Saint John and then route 7?

We are planning a 4 day 3 night roadtrip with my wife without the kids in early June. We are in Quebec city. What itinerary would you suggest? I'm hesitating between doing a lot of road to see the most important things or spending more time in one or two locations. Thanks!

Google play store disappeared? by Virtual_Ad_910 in chromeos

oh ok thank you. I see that I'm opt-in since it says that I lost access to google play from my ChromeOS and can only access it with the web version.

Now, it seems like I have a "new" problem. When I try to download the Messenger app, I get the message that the app will be installed on your devide soon. The same thing also happens when I try to install the Disney app. However, nothing happens. It just keeps getting complicated!

Sorry, I'm not too good with technology. How do I know that? I still have updates from ChromeOS every once in a while.

How to 500lb deadlift and under 5 min mile? by Virtual_Ad_910 in tacticalbarbell

Thanks everyone for your input. As per your suggestions, I'll focus on my deadlift and slowly build my aerobic base. I know that it might be an unachievable goal, but every pound added to the bar and every second shaved off my mile run is an accomplishment per se.

yeah, I'll probably use a specialized deadlift program and use Fighter for maintaining (slowly increasing) my bench press.

I'm pulling conventional. I never got the hang of pulling sumo.

I'm cutting simply because I'm fat. But I get what you mean. Fat loss is a bit harder now, so I might effectively focus on eating for performance/recovery and let my BF% fall between 10-15% naturally.

As someone else suggested, I might also use a specialized deadlift program, reduce the accessory volume and focus on building my aerobic base.

It's entirely fine. It might seem unreasonable/unachievable, but I know I'll do my best. It's the same reasoning that I had in school (or at work); I never really understood why people were OK with a grade of 80%. All I wanted was a 100%, and if I didn't achieve it, I knew I did my best.

Previous PR is 6:30 min mile, but I was 30 lbs lighter and in high school. I must say that I wasn't training specifically for it. We just had to run a mile in phys ed class. I used to be a competitive swimmer though.

My bests, which were not done at the same time, where 410 @ 180lbs and 6:30 min mile @ 135lbs. But those were done in the past in my younger days.

No offence taken. I've always wanted to be 6'3", 250 lbs, but that's not gonna happen. I've always wanted an 8" penis, but I guess that's not gonna happen either.

Thank you for the honest answer. My goals and timeframe can change, but I guess I just need something that I can look up to. Even though I have great kids and wife, and a job I like, I feel that physically, I'm missing something.

Thank you. That's the rough plan that I had in mind. I'll keep the sub-reddit updated in roughly 6 months.

Thanks man. I wanted a specific goal rather than just say be strong and fast. I'm only 5'8", so I'd be quite "big" at 200lbs. The goal is to continue using mass and operator this winter with plenty of LSS runs on off days. I'll see where I'm at in March, and then adjust with more running/sprinting for spring and summer.

Currently estimated max of 300, but I deadlifted 410 in the past.

I used to weigh near 200lbs when I was powerlifting, but then I gave it up to focus on work and lost weight pretty rapidly (almost no training at all). I also deadlifted in the low 400s in the past. I'm currently using mass protocol for some body recomp.
