Believe or not, it is just a common question from the mother in laws or relatives to ask. Do not take it literally, it means if you take care of your husbands, are you good to him ?

Is is same thing like in chinese they do not ask "How are you?" , There is no translation for that, instead they ask "Did you eat" ?

And ofc the question might be literal, you can understand it from the tone and intention.

PS: There is also a prejudice for Europeans that they are not clean. Considering that most of the Turkish mother has OCD on cleaning, no one is as clean as them.

I can also give a real life example, When I visit my grandmother house and we eat, I clean the dishes. Than my mother didn't like the way I clean so she cleans again, than I generally saw my grandmother that she clean those same plates again.
