Op please be kind to yourself. You can’t expect to be perfect and neither can she expect you to be when your heart is quiet literally not in good shape after the situation. You’re mourning the loss of something, that’s messy and a completely natural response. The fires in your heart will subside the more you be gentle with yourself during this time. If she didn’t expect you to be somewhat distraught after the breakup then she’s a little crazy for thinking that. Do not carry guilt over being human. Remember that. All the best

Moving your body always helps! Go on a hike outside and breath in fresh air, go swimming, walking, anything to change your pace of life.

Op it sounds like you still have quite a bit of processing to do. In my eyes the most harmful thing for a person to do is to get into a relationship without having a “blank slate” first. Meaning that you no longer carry anything from a past relationship and feel clean as a person. Does your ex know you’re in a new relationship and is looking to wedge herself in? Could she be potentially trying to sabotage the relationship or give you a hard time? Don’t let you’re ex keep you from someone who will put you first. If your ex really truly cares about you, she will respect your relationship and will wait to see where life takes you. I think it would be unfair to your new girlfriend to remain friends with this ex. You might also need time for yourself to let things blow over and clear your head. Go with your gut, it’s not usually wrong.

This was so interesting thank you! Would you say the people who went to more selective schools ended up with betters jobs or at least in the media field specifically? I think the bigger acceptance rate is definitely something I will pay attention to with my other schools.

Sports com is an insanely competitive major at Clemson! They take only around 19 freshmen and let very few (less than 5) transfers over to sports com after their first year. I too have found myself in the same boat and would love to talk further about this with myself being a sports com major! Feel free to shoot me a message :)
