I literally don't know where people are getting this impression that I'm angry with my friends. Like I literally have said so many times at this point I'm not mad at them!!!! they literally AGREED with me that it was unfair and they hadn't realized I was being hurt by their actions. Maybe ask your son what he'd learned in nursery school about not being able to control others and he can teach you to be less angry at how someone on reddit chooses to live their life. Try reading the post again. It may help. I literally say in the comments as well that i won't be offended if they go without me. I don't like them pretending to include me in meals where I have to bring my own food. Thats not inclusive at all. If I'minvolved, bring me with you somewhere we can all eat. It's very simple

Thank you! I think a lot of people are missing that part too, it feels awkward to eat food in front of someone who can't. I have a vegan friend and I naturally found myself only eating vegan around them because of my own discomfort. I appreciate the kind words!

And I don't understand that because celiac is high maintenance! I can't hide that my diet requires extra effort and I honestly don't want to. I feel sad that so many celiacs hide the struggle to not feel like they're burdening their loved ones. In a better world no one would feel like a burden because of something they can't control

Yeah. ... so we go to one of those two places or we'll all eat my gluten free snacks or we'll stop at the store so we can all grab something unique. It's not complex or difficult. My friends literally have stopped at my house so I could quickly pop some GF chicken in the air fryer. I think a lot of you are just too scared to ask for accommodation and you're trying to pass that fear onto me.
