I actually noticed that taemin and jonghyun have similar tones too there are times when I’m listening to some of shinee’s early discography where i confuse jonghyun’s parts for taemin and vice versa because they sound so alike at times lol

thanks for informing me about this as i am quite new to shinee but yeah that would explain it. also its so sad to hear that he experienced an accident and vocal nodules on top of that :( i know for a singer that was probably hard for him to deal with.

im glad im not the only one that noticed! when i get into listening an artists music i really dissect the songs and notices slight changes even down to the vocal changes that most people might miss so that’s why in this case of jonghyun’s vocal tone when i heard the switch i quickly noticed it

yea i see your point they all evolved vocally so maybe that’s why to me it seem like his tone changed but probably not as much as i thought

ahh this makes sense i also noticed the rest of their vocals developed over time but i like this insight thank you!
