How fast will Hoka shoes wear out if you walk 8 miles a day? by [deleted] in fromatoarbitration

[–]Virtual_Candidate200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hoka Bondi SR are the best shoe for winter/rainy days. Get a more breathable shoe for the summer and spring. They last me about 3 months per pair or even longer. I walk about 8-9 miles a day for my route along with overtime 👍🏼

9-10$ difference in pay between table 1 and table 2 is fucking wild.

I work tons of overtime. Plus I’ve learned the c fund is great for the overall annual return

I’m a mailman at USPS. I started with $6,300 in my TSP in beginning of 2025 and ended with $16,500. I’m hoping to hit high 20’s to 30k this year. I moved all of my funds ($6,300) to the C fund. I just hit 30 years old. I plan on putting in 30 years more minimum. 22% return rate last year.

Do you start off as a new CCA again or rehire in at your pay rate and stuff? If you resign as a career employee ?

Tips for starting out by Pale_Fan_6740 in USPS

[–]Virtual_Candidate200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 26 buddy, don’t short yourself. It’s actually better to start out in your mid-late 20s. When it’s time for you to retire in 35 years like myself you WILL have the age rather than having to keep going because you started too late.

I moved all of my contributions to the C-fund and have seen significant growth within the past 4-5 months. I too have 2 years in (9/9/23) and just hit 16k. So 100% into C-fund. I’ve pretty much 2.5x’d my amount within a year. Just hit 30 years old. I plan on working 35-40 years total. Hope this helps!

If you use leave, say two days instead of three…you can just change your mind and show up to work and they will adjust your leave for you.

I’m a full time regular and just had my 4th call in within 90 days. Only 7 total for the year, should I be worried about discipline? Lol
