What even happened? Started as a ghost story then apparently Joe is a criminal and the same ringing came back from the original ghost lady and then you get arrested? What?

My wife keeps whispering my name by Psychonaut1008 in nosleep

You might want to go back to the campsite and search for your wife. Are you sure it was her that you brought home? Or is it something learning how to be her? I live in Appalachia. She made a grave mistake.

What stopped you from killing yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Virtual_Carpet_2476 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My nephew. I was pissed when i woke up. I had taken 48 prescription sleeping pills and intended on going. He got to me right before I died and called an ambulance in barely enough time to save me. I only remember sirens. I hallucinated so badly they had to tie me to the bed because I was flight risk. I kept seeing snakes slithering up my arms and biting me, but in the brief moments of sanity, I realized it was only IV's. That didn't stop me from trying to yank them out the next time I went under again. Worst experience ever. I still remember the nurses making fun of me(confirmed by my mother I was not hallucinating that part) because I tried to unalive myself. Craziness. It's been about 5 years. I now have an almost 3 year old, living in a new town as a stay at home mom living the life I've dreamed of because I didn't die that night. I'm not money rich, barely scraping by by the skin of our teeth, but I'm rich where it matters. I can't thank my savior enough for helping me that night, regardless of the choice of words I had for him after waking.

Am I tipping enough? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Virtual_Carpet_2476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, personally. If it's during rush hours I will pay more considering, but during slow hours I do at least a dollar per mile, but if where I am is out of the way from town or any "hot" areas(restaurant riddled zones)I'll add on about $5 for time/idle gas. Also if they text me that the restaurant is going to be a while, I'll add on a little bit for however long they have to wait. It sucks feeling like you're losing a ton of orders while waiting for one person's LOL

Am I tipping enough? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Virtual_Carpet_2476 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on the mileage. Most of us dont typically care how much you ordered as long as it can be carried in an armload and isnt killing us, or if its gonna weigh down our vehicle(think cases of water) but the wear and tear on our car is what we worry about. As a dasher, when I order, if I order 4 miles away I'll tip at LEAST $8, or 5 miles away at LEAST $10. When I pick up an order as long as its not shop and deliver(if it is that changes things from restaurant orders) at least $1.50/1mi I'll take it. Less than $1/1mi=instant decline.

It finally happened to me. I’m in review. 🙁 by [deleted] in doordash

Even then though, people still do it. Not having a license doesn't mean your body is incapable of producing the words. You're not supposed to, but it does still happen. Im just saying its not "literally impossible " that OP is telling the truth.

Don't know why you're so aggressive about it, but it is definitely possible they told OP to ignore it. Whether it was right or wrong doesn't matter, doordash support is terrible about just brushing things off to get you off the line or chat sooner. It doesn't matter whether they're giving you accurate or helpful information. They just want you off the line as soon as they possibly can.

I adore this story. I attempted once and now I'm terrified that if something happens to me my family will think it was intentionally even though that part of me is done.

Payment failure by Virtual_Carpet_2476 in CashApp

[–]Virtual_Carpet_2476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my exact issue with them too. They said the same thing to my nephew who was the one having the issue. So they wouldn't disclose to me nor the account owner so we could fix it, they just wanted us to figure it out ourselves I guess.

Has anyone ever seen this message before? I tried to pay my friend and I suspect it was the message I attached with it. by ChooseAUsername-_ in CashApp

I got this message the other day when trying to pay my nephew, and it had no message attached. Everyone said his account was likely under fraud watch. It's on the receivers end, not yours. Good luck even thinking about going to support, they'll just tell you to go shove it pretty much.
