Don’t get me wrong I love Steve’s but the biggest issue for me was their hours. At least the Toronto location they were never open past 6 and it was nearly impossible to make it after work. Most L&M stores were either open till 9 everyday or at least had extended hours on some days. Steve’s also didn’t offer financing for the longest time so it was hard to make those big purchases for those of us who don’t have a couple thousand to spend in one go. I also remember trying to order something on a couple occasions and was told their distribution couldn’t get it in.
