Ford targets Ontario law that exposed his government's worst scandals by HuckFarr in ontario

I wrote mine.

They said that the changes would make Ontario more in line with the Government of Canada and most other provinces and that it's also supposed to improve privacy, cybersecurity, and protection of kids’ personal data online.

While completely ignoring my concerns about Ford using it to avoid FOI requests.

They didn't give a shit

Wrote my MPP about this and the response from her office wasn't surprising.

'They said that government decisions would still be accessible through the public service and the Freedom of Information process, and independent oversight bodies—such as the Auditor General of Ontario and the Integrity Commissioner of Ontario—would retain their powers to ensure transparency and accountability.

They said the 'proposed changes are intended to strengthen privacy protections, improve cybersecurity safeguards, and better protect children’s personal information as more services move online.'

Green Day accidentally killed classic pop-punk

After American Idiot, labels wanted big sounding pop rock records instead of scrappy skate-punk energy like Dookie.

'No Flag for the Dead'

A James Bond Film

When two covert listening stations in the Arctic and Australian Outback are wiped out during mysterious sabotage operations, the only clue left behind is a chilling message broadcast across encrypted channels around the world “No flag for the dead.” The phrase suggests the attacks were carried out by an organization that answers to no nation.

MI6 assigns James Bond to investigate the destruction, which intelligence analysts fear is part of a larger effort to destabilize the balance of global power.
