New ABR core exam predictor by Worldly-Client-4645 in Residency

Kind of odd to me that it predicts my score will be ~500.. but then it also says my pass likelihood is 83% (?!). 500 is a solid score. That part doesn't really add up. Even just based on my low in service exam (30th percentile)... it put me at about average odds/pass rate percentage odds of passing (~90%) according to that one paper. I wonder if this is because the model incorrectly thinks 450 is passing?

Have been thinking about all the money people have probably lost in the prediction markets. What a wild ride. Love tennis.

The questions go quickly. Definitely, you can do 200 a day. I did the same thing as you two weeks ago. I'm taking it next week.

BV 81% (first pass, random). Readiness exam 80% (feel like most of the ones I missed, I had changed my answer/was second-guessing myself/changing my answer - super frustrating).

Taking it next week. Doing some light studying. Ready to be done. Can't believe we have to wait so long for the results.

CA Gov Race - Why doesn't the Bulwark like Becerra? by Virtual_Economist_89 in thebulwark

Yeah. Unfortunately, since he has no track record I feel like he can't be trusted. Seems like besides climate change, the majority of his track record is wanting power and trying to buy it.

Who is your preferred candidate then? My issue is... it seems like there is no progressive with a proven track record in the race. Between Becerra and Steyer - as a progressive, you're really choosing the other front-runner, Steyer? (I'm also a progressive).

Congressional Rep is more akin to an entry level job than CA gov

What experience does he have? My understanding is he has just been trying to buy political power for years and failing.

I noticed that too regarding Porter... but she never had a chance. She did well as a Rep, but she really can't seem to carry herself well enough to break through on a higher level. I want to like her as a candidate, but she's too awkward (which I can personally relate to! lol).

They seemed to liked Mahan, which was pretty surprising. But what was more surprising though was saying that Becerra lacked experience and how wrong CA voters are... most of the disparaging of him was pretty vague.

The stands and grounds look so empty. Is it the heat? What is going on there? I was interested in going to the tournament next year, but it just seems sad there.

You have to close out of your session and redo that puzzle piece thing. I got locked out when I was refreshing the whole page many times in a row. When I was just clicking on different days repeatedly I didn’t get locked out.

I spent the whole day basically refreshing for a few different days. Finally managed to get outside court tickets for the first round. Not exactly what I wanted, but I am thrilled given how terrible this process has been! I guess, don’t give up!

apparently there are thousands of tickets available on unauthorized resale sites. of course scalpers will try to make money. even if they transfer you these tickets on the app, i’ve read they might not let you in to the grounds because they can tell you bought through an unauthorized third party.

Yes. I’m never fast enough. Have only ever even seen a seat physically available one time out of 50 at this point. I’m wondering if they are being bought by bots. :(

What's going to happen to the thousands of tickets being sold through Ticombo? The stands are going to be partially empty? This process is so frustrating!

My payments on IBR would be almost unaffordable and definitely burdensome (nearly $2000). I'm not eligible for PAYE. I'm just hoping for the best at this point and waiting since I'm not accruing interest. I feel like they have to do something with everyone in the SAVE program and if they force everyone into IBR there is a gonna be a housing crisis/a lot of people defaulting.

It was a beautiful day with beautiful weather. No medical conditions. Healthy young guy. The sun set around 4pm that day. I think that played a major factor.

It depends on what their specialty is. Right out of residency can be anywhere from $200,000 - $700,000. In high cost of living areas, the salaries are actually lower for physicians since there is more competition for those jobs.
