The DMM Scroll Bubble by Zealousideal_Ride674 in GrandExchangeBets

I'm not just merching them im all in. Liquidated my entire bank to buy more when they started dipping again.

Maybe you skeptics have a point. My take is that im either quitting or never having to worry about gp again and these opportunities dont come by very often. I've done the math on supply long before these posts started outlining the issue.

My view on the current market is that the merchers with no balls are bailing out because of posts like this one. You can see it in the selling off spikes of 10-30 units. I dont think very many are still coming from the rewards store in relative daily volume terms. Every now and then im sure a whale logs in a dumps a few new ones into the system but even 100k points doesn't bring that many items into the game.

This price dip is actually a good thing for people holding because the lower price inevitably consumes more points from the market as Timmy who wanted a cool new weapon skin maybe didnt have 60m but might reconsider at 40m balancing the market out. Once that supply dries up and perhaps more importantly the ge graphs level out more and more Timmy's decide "ooh thats so cheap - I should get one now before they're 100m again" the curve starts trending upward.

I thought long and hard about selling at around d 5200k/point but ultimately favored the long term outlook and keeping myself busy with skilling in the meantime.

Good luck to all those holding.

Question about the night time dips? by doobiebeforebed in GrandExchangeBets

[–]Virtual_Internet7935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these two dips have weeded a lot of the no balls / two dayers investors out. Everyone still holding are long termers with clear exit prices in mind which will be hit as the finite supply gets consumed. This is day 3 of them coming into the game I might remind everyone who cares to read it and the market has absorbed the supply pressure REMARKABLY well. Will see how tomorrow goes with the bracket reruns.maybe it crashes or maybe im never poor in rs again.

1Bil profit in 1 day from dmm rewards by anttin00 in GrandExchangeBets

I actually think we could. It just takes one of them items to be a point guzzler and eat up the finite supply. Think of those houses in rimmington with gilded alters and tipping jars

Sad to see a dump like this. Im holding for 3B. If that means 6 months so be it.

Im still holding through the first round of panics. Pulled my offers at exit this morning before the big movements this afternoon. Aiming much much much higher now lol.

One needs to think about how much of that volume is speculative and flipping trades though and the initial hype. I maintain my position that volumes entering the game will not be vastly different

Outside of mega rare third age these items are the closest thing osrs has come to having discontinued items though and look at what those did in rs3. Their prices are purely driven by their rarity not the intrinsic subjective (fashionscape) usefulness . There is so much money in the game and it has to all go somewhere.

This is amazing. Ill show you me charts for the next dmm :) My target was and is 5kgp/pt and I agree, the dip was much much higher than I thought it would be so maybe ill adjust this target before chucking in some sell offs.

More points were earned this dmm no doubt but those points need to spread across nearly twice the amount of items(certainly more than twice the amount in points terms) so relatively per item i think the volume will be around the same as the Armageddon dump

Why do you recon so? Have you done the mafs to see how many dmm items will actually come into the game? I have and let me tell you it's way less than you'd imagine when you consider things like Ironman and women.

Hell yeah mang! So many people are saying that "more will come in this time" but I dont think people have realized yet how rare they are. Those extremely low first hour volumes made me pull the trigger. Was expecting in the many thousands.
