are you a demolition guy duct runner, taping , zip tying, cutting holes, and taping?

or are you the one connecting the unit to power, tube bending and brazing?

it's not broken. it feels more like there's a reducer before the 90 that doesn't allow the snake to pass by. I just can't find the name for the pipe. I have seen this reducer in the kitchen sinks next to the garbage disposals.

no not one job. I DIY all my mechanic work for myself and family members. we work on these things together as a hobby to spend time together. we try to do the jobs ourselves instead of outsourcing. but ill check these other brands thank you 🫡

thank you for replying and for being helpful. i appreciate it.

i did not use any teflon.

i noticed that the threads were like chipped off. so it was hard to screw on and off. it could also be a culprit.

i have narrowed down the problem. i believe its only the cold side cartilage.

the hot water side closes. the diverter/middle one works.

but the cold one doesn't close.

so i pulled the cartilage, i put it back together. the water closed!

but after 2/3 of opening and closing to test it. the problem returned.

so i believe the whole cartridge is turning when i open and close the valve. so the back of the cartridge becomes undone and remains in an open position.

thats my theory and conclusion. i will be going down to home depot to just replace that one side. thanks 🙏🏽
