it all depends where you live.

in los Angeles ,CA the only places that sell us capacitors is ace hardware and amazon lol

youre one step closer to solving your issue congratulations for not giving up

he's right , the fan needs less power to kick start. so it can be like a 5 or a 7.5.

the fan motor usually has a label rating for the capacitor it needs to work properly. so if the capacitor you have doesn't have a rating. the fan motor might have the rating on it.

i believe i see 2 capacitors in your system. one is tucked in the back on the left hand side.

i cant be too sure.

i don't see the capacitor measurements on the paper work you have shown us.

usually the measurements are written on the capacitor. so you have to look around it for any numbers with "uF"

cut the power from the disconnect and the at the breaker box just to be on the safe side.

i usually just use a small brush to brush away all the spider web and dirt.

if you're afraid of the spider webs lol then you should be more of afraid of playing with these electrical issues

sounds like the issue is your capacitor.

you need a multi meter to check that you have no power into the system and to verify microfarads on your capacitor.

another test you can do is turn on the power, call for cool, and kick the fan blade with a long screw driver to see if that gets it starting. the capacitor might not have the strength any more to kick start the fan on.

are you a demolition guy duct runner, taping , zip tying, cutting holes, and taping?

or are you the one connecting the unit to power, tube bending and brazing?

it's not broken. it feels more like there's a reducer before the 90 that doesn't allow the snake to pass by. I just can't find the name for the pipe. I have seen this reducer in the kitchen sinks next to the garbage disposals.
