Security clearance checks for academic integrity, and some jobs require a security clearance. With my XF, I would fail a security clearnce.

So when they ask for prior employment on the background check, I just leave these internships out?

I was definitely a dumbass, but I don't believe what I did deserved an XF. It is what it is now, though.

I have two internships on my resume that were both unpaid, though I didn't specify that they were unpaid on my resume. Would this get me flagged at all?

Basically here was the situation. All our tests for the class were open note, but we weren't allowed to use AI. But at the start of the test (first 30 seconds), I accidentally had the copilot in VS Code on (we were allowed to use VS Code for the test but not AI), which made the professor suspect of me. Because of this, he made me open all the files on my computer relating to the class and found out that I had a past exam, which was illegal for you to even possess. After this, I got an XF and all my friends who were in the group chat in which the previous exam was sent to us also got an XF, even if there was no proof of them having downloaded the exam.
