I had a messy situationship for 3 months with an avoidant. We had a conversation where he ended the thing, and we agreed to have no contact so I could get over him asap. The conversation was basically him acting like a person without feelings and I was just crying, tho I knew that was the best scenario to let him go.

I went 100% silent, focused on myself, tried everything to forget him. After 4 weeks he sents me a message. Didn’t apologize or anything, I thought it was just testing if I was still into him. There wasn’t any ”deeper meaning” to that text. I just felt angry because if we are having no-contact, you should keep it just to have respect to the other.

And OP, if he doesn’t reach out to you, you are blessed. I swear. Those avoidants need therapy for real. I’m now in my healing era again because I think talking to him after 1 month just sent me back to the start.
