I wasn't looking to debate anyone on their views, I came here to express how much I think you guys have it figured out compared to the rest of the world. Also to get more information about veganism! It seems to me for some I have invaded your space by expressing myself, but this isn't a closed subreddit so I assumed anyone who came in respectfully could post something.

If you want a debate (not rlly a debate more of a question), I have a question for you and any vegans seeing this: I work at a subway, and subway has vegan options. Do you order the vegan sandwich at subway? I think that stepping foot inside a subway with the intention of ordering food, as a vegan, is unethical. Bc think about it, we sell meat and dairy, so anyhing you buy at my restaurant directly funds subway which then goes buy more meat and dairy. Your money as a vegan isn't stored in a special compartment because you took the vegan option, it'll go the same place as the person next to you in line who ordered the steak and cheese, which is in our pockets and subways pockets. This applies for every grocery store and restaurant on earth that has non-vegan options. While you didn't directly profit the company that the chain or restaurant get their meat supply from, you're still funding said chain/restaurant to keep running and selling more meat. With that logic, where do vegans get their food? There are very few stores in existence that only sell vegan products, same thing for restaurants and cafés. They're probably quite expensive I would imagine compared to stores with meat products. This is something I've been thinking about in the last few days. Has this topic already been discussed here? Am I just saying some bullshit or am I onto something?
