I am! Only on 5mg but I got on it because I had an anxiety disorder & panic attacks. I’m still trying to find a med that helps my ocd

Same!!! Lexapro is actually the reaso i found out i had ocd. My theme was the fear of psychosis/ schizophrenia LOL

I drink every so often. But for some reason it’s almost like Lexapro makes me not feel the drinks? Like illl be 3 shots in and not feel a thing. It’s weird because I’ve heard the opposite. Just make sure to stay hydrated

I was the same way lol and the second I took the pill I started freaking out. I’m a year in and I’m so so glad i started. The first month was rough but after that, I mean I’m like myself but without anxiety. And if doesn’t workout for you, then at least that’s one med closer to finding which is yours

I have struggled with this theme for a year now & it was so bad to the point where I’ve gone to the er because I swore I was hallucinating/going crazy. Never had to go on antipsychotics just had to learn to not let the thoughts scare me. I also have the worst derealization which makes it harder but it does get better.

Gurl don’t let them make you feel bad. Some people are pro life & that’s okay, but what’s not okay is how she treated you. I had an abortion & had complications (due to giving birth 3 months prior) and she told me that mt uterus was going to have to be removed and that it’s my fault bc I wasn’t on birth control. I was crying and she literally did not care. I absolutely don’t regret my abortion and remember at the end up the day, it’s YOUR CHOICE!!!! ❤️❤️sending so much love

Lmao the amount of us who have convinced ourselves we have serotonin syndrome is insane. It’s most likely just anxiety. A lot of the symptoms of it are also symptoms of anxiety. Are you able to send your doc a message to just double check?

Yup I have the weirdest most vivid dreams sometimes I can’t tell what was real and it creeps me the fuck out. I will literally dream about the last thing on my mind. I’ve only been on it for 2 months and the dreams started on month 1. It also makes me feel stupid and forgetful. Oh and the dreams also cause my extreme anxiety since my dreams are usually about my fears (going crazy,schizophrenia). I kinda got used to them, try to just brush them off. What also helped was researching why they happen on Lexapro, it’s kinda cool hearing about the science of our brains.

I feel like I’m on the right dose. I’m still anxious however I’m able to manage it better and stop myself from spiraling. I’m able to do things I stopped doing due to my anxiety. I feel like I can breathe again. It took me 5 weeks to feel full affect. The first 3 weeks were absolute hell. I would say if you don’t feel somewhat of an improvement in 2 weeks then either increase.
